Development Programs
For recent college graduates, we offer options for multi-year development programs to help you build upon your skills and interests with Conagra.
Supply Chain Development Program

Our Supply Chain Development Program (SCDP) is an accelerated training program for college graduates who have the desire to excel in today’s fast-paced Supply Chain environment.

​​​​​​​We will provide you with exposure to the various facets of Supply Chain within a diverse Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization. Your Supply Chain skill set will be enhanced by providing you exposure to experienced professionals and various areas of procurement and logistics.
Procurement
This program is structured to last 36 months and will allow for consistent growth and individual development opportunities. You will rotate through three Supply Chain functions during your time in the program. These rotations will vary based on business needs and your career aspirations. 

Engineering
This program is structured to last 36 months and will allow for consistent growth and individual development opportunities. You will complete two rotations within Engineering at both the corporate and plant level. You will have significant communication and coordination with multiple internal stakeholders as well as external communication with equipment vendors, construction contractors, co-manufacturing organizations, etc.

Logistics
This program is structured to last 36 months and will allow for consistent growth and individual development opportunities. You will rotate through three Supply Chain functions during your time in the program. These rotations will vary based on business needs and your career aspirations. 
Manufacturing
This program is structured to last 36 months and will allow for consistent growth and individual development opportunities. You will complete two distinct roles within one or more plant locations:  

Your first rotation will be as a process lead for 12-18 months. You will own reliability improvement for an assigned production line and develop the operating teams’ technical understanding and mastery of process control. 

Your second rotation will be a promotion to line lead. You will manage production staff to attain production and quality goals while owning results and loss reduction. You will own personal action plans to drive improvement for the plants. 

You have the option to participate in a third rotation of your choosing:  
  • Plant Supply Chain: Warehousing, Procurement, Planning 
  • Quality/Sanitation 
  • Engineering (if degree specific)  
Quality
This program is structured to last 36 months and will allow for consistent growth and individual development opportunities.

You will complete two rotations with Quality Assurance and Management. You will work as part of a team to identify, manage, and execute the plant’s process improvement opportunities. 

You have the option to participate in a third rotation of your choosing:  
  • Plant Supply Chain: Warehousing, Procurement, Planning 
  • Operations (Process Lead) 
  • Sanitation 
  • Engineering (if degree specific) 
Sales Development Program
This role aims for college graduates who have the desire to excel in today’s fast-paced sales environment. We will provide you with exposure to the various facets of our Customer Leadership Organization within a diverse Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization. Your skill set will be enhanced by providing you exposure to experienced professionals and various sales settings. 

This program is structured to last 2 years and will allow for consistent growth and individual development opportunities. You can expect several rotations through key areas of the Sales organization, such as: customer facing experience, analytics, business reviews, category management, revenue management, shopper marketing, and sales operations. You can also expect to:
  • Gain hands-on sales experience working with customers 
  • Receive coaching and guidance from a program manager, functional manager and mentor to excel your development for future roles
  • Learn our business, interact with internal and external customers, and build an extensive network within the organization
  • Develop and deliver presentations demonstrating knowledge acquired and results delivered
  • Build skills in areas such as pricing, relationship management, negotiations, time management, and strategic business planning
CFO Rotational Program
The CFO Rotational Program is an immersive rotational experience that provides an opportunity to learn various areas of Conagra’s Finance and/or Global Business & Information Services organization.

Throughout the program you will complete three, one-year rotations (for a total of three years) in different areas of the CFO organization designed to provide a variety of experiences in both technical and business processes. Throughout your experience you will be integrated in different projects, participate in multiple networking events & conferences, connect with Conagra’s leadership team, and build relationships across the company.  You will also be assigned a dedicated mentor to help navigate your career journey.  The experience will help you gain holistic knowledge to carry forward into your role placement at the end of the three-year program.

Rotational Program participants will have the option to explore roles in Finance, Global Business Services, and Information Technology. Placement will be based on candidates` interests, desired skill sets, and business needs.
